Easiest way to ignore names like that is to click them to open up wshp, copy their name, and paste into the ignore box.

As soon as I see people using crap like that to sell their junk, they go immeadiately on my ignore list. It's annoying and hard to read.

thats interesting because you cant have numbers in a characters name

Yeah I had to figure that out the hard way. I was trying to sell a gold truncheon and I didn't really know what it was worth (the merchant price was like 430g) so I put out all the stats and a price on trade chat. I guess it was junk cause it wasn't selling or my price was too high. Even though I listed all the stats these guys kept coming up and asking to see it and then telling me it was crap and saying a bunch of really nasty stuff to me. So this one guy with a name "| Xxxxxx Xxxxxxx |" keeps hassling me, so I tried to type his name in the ignore list. Low and behold I couldn't type the vertical bar character --> |. So I finally tried the ctrl-c, ctrl-v thing and it worked, thank God. Thus my lesson in copy paste. Haha.

That was just an example. He didn't have numbers in his name, but he did have the vertical | in his name and you can't type that in, or at least not from my keyboard. Personally I would like to see an ingame tool to report these people. Most who do it, do it to hassle others and not to make an original name. Besides, if you're not supposed to type it at the prompt and you have to use a bypass method, then you shouldn't have that name anyways. Logging into the PlayNC-Guild Wars-Lineage support tool is a major pain in the ass. I've had a support account for almost 4 years now and I hate using that site.
